The Greek Pantheon, also known as the Olympic Pantheon, is a group of gods and other creatures from greek mythology.

Known Members

Amazons

Amazons were created by a meeting of the pagan deities Ares and Harmonia, creating a tribe of warrior women who had no need for males, except for reproduction. At some point, they had a war, and their numbers were vastly depleted, as such they made a deal with Harmonia to save them from extinction, and she made them more than human, effectively turning them into monsters.

Ares (mentioned only, status unknown)

Ares is the Greek god of war. He is one of the Twelve Olympians, the son of Zeus and Hera. He had sex with Harmonia, and from this were originated the Amazons.

Artemis

Artemis is goddess of hunt and wildlife. She was in love with Prometheus and killed him by mistake whule trying to kill her father Zeus by torturing Prometheus.

Atropos

Atropos is one of the three Fates, she is the oldest and the more inflexible of the three. Althrough, for a deity, she seen to want the general good and order of humanity. She compeld Castiel to send Balthazar back in time and not to save the Titanic.

Calliope (deceased)

Calliope was the goddess of epic poetry and one of the nine muses in greek mythology. Used to inspire creativity in directors and producers, then devours them once their play is done and their vision is realized.

Chronos (deceased)

Chronos was the god of time. When he was worshiped he gained his power from taking time from his worshipers. No longer worshiped, Chronos was forced to feed after a couple decades on three humans to stop wandering through time.

Clotho (mentioned only)

Clotho is one of the three Fates. She was only mentioned by her sister Atropos but never seen.

Gorgons

Gorgons are a type of creature from the Greek Myths whose almost nothing is known about, they were mostly just mentioned, and in the episode The Scorpion and The Frog a gorgon's fossilised tooth is shown.

Harmonia (mentioned only, status unknown)

Harmonia is the immortal goddess of harmony and concord. She had sex with Ares, and from this were originated the original Amazons, after a war, and their numbers were vastly depleted, the Amazons made a deal with Harmonia to save them from extinction, and she made them more than human.

Hesperus (mentioned only, status unknown)

Hesperus was only mentioned once when Beau in one of Plutus auctions when the item in question was Hesperus' Amulet

Lachesis (mentioned only)

Lachesis is one of the three Fates. She was only mentioned by her sister Atropos but never seen.

Medusa

Medusa is a gorgon in the real life lore, but was never confirmed to be one in Supernatural. A painting with her can be seen in the episode Blade Runners.

Minotaurs

Minotaurs are a type of creature that were mentioned once by Sam along with Gorgons when he was talking about Artemis and how hunters would pray for courage for her when hunting minotaurs or gorgons.

Oblivion (deceased, tie-in books only)

Oblivion was the goddess of memory.

Oliver (demigod, Titan)

Oliver is son of Prometheus with a mortal woman. He is not a god of anything and has no lore about him due to being a young boy.

Pan (mentioned only, status unknown)

Pan is the satyr-god of frenzy and wildlife. He was only mentioned but never seen.

Plutus (deceased)

Plutus was the god of greed. He used to held auctions of various rare and precious artifacts. He was betrayed and killed by his assistant Beau.

Prometheus (Titan, deceased)

Prometheus was a Titan (proto-god), culture hero, and trickster figure who is credited with the creation of man from clay, and who defies the gods by stealing fire and giving it to humanity. He was cursed with Immortality and sentenced to die every day by Zeus for stealing fire from the gods and giving it to humanity.

Zeus (deceased)

Zeus was the god of the sky and thunder. He cursed Prometheus with immortality and then was shot by his daughther Artemis, but managed to put Prometheus in front of him, stoping the arrow with his blood, Prometheus then stick the arrow deeper in his body in order to pass through it and hit Zeus, who then die along with Prometheus.

  • Zeus is the only pagan deity so far to blame his pantheon's downfall to an event other than the arrival of the Abrahamic faiths. Instead, he blamed their decline to the theft of fire by Prometheus as a gift to mankind.
