Gary was a wendigo victim.
Appearances
Gary was one of Tommy Collins' friends and went out with him to camp into the woods of Blackwater Ridge, Lost Creek, Colorado. At the night, he was playing some online 3D-reality action game with another fellow, Brad. Being beaten by Gary on the game, Brad got out of the tent to piss, whilst Gary remains inside of it. Brad hears the sound of dry twigs being stepped on and some kind of grunt, seeing the Wendigo shortly thereafter. He screams frightened, which catchs their fellows attention. Brad puts his head out of the tent entrance, only to be caught by the Wendigo too. The next and last one was Tommy.
Afterward, Gary is seem, still alive, inside the Wendigo's cave, hung with his hands tied up, and so is Tommy, but not Brad, which means that the Wendigo has already killed and ate him. The boys woke up, only to hear and see the Wendigo approaching. It approaches to Gary and his desperate screams can be heard, along with the Wendigo's grunt and the sound of flesh being ripped. A frightened Tommy closes his eyes and turns his head in the opposite direction whilst Gary's screams stop and the only sounds remaining were the Wendigo's grunt and the flesh of Gary's body being continuously ripped.
When Dean, Sam and Tommy's brother and sister arrived to rescue him, there's no more signal of Gary in any place of the cave or elsewhere, testifying that he's definitely dead.
