You think his friends just called him Yellow Eyes? He had a name.
This article is about a canonical individual whose real name is unknown, and is known only by a conjectural title, nickname or alias.

This unnamed man served as Gadreel's initial and recurring vessel.

OverviewEdit

Following the Fall of the Angels in I Think I'm Gonna Like It Here, Gadreel managed to get this man to consent to possession as his vessel. While traveling on a bus in this man's body, Gadreel heard Dean Winchester's plea for help and traveled to Randolph, New York in response. After Dean tricked his brother into possession by Gadreel, Gadreel abandoned this man, leaving him sitting on Sam's hospital bed with no memory of what had happened to him.

In Road Trip, while meeting with Metatron in a bar after having taken full possession of Sam Winchester, Gadreel realized that his old vessel was the bartender. Metatron commented to Gadreel on how strange it was to see an old vessel while the man displayed some possible recognition of the angel. After Sam ejected Gadreel with the help of Crowley, Gadreel returned to the bar where this man was alone with Metatron. As glasses shattered around him, the man heard Gadreel's true voice and told him "yes", consenting to possession by the angel once more. With the man's permission gained, Gadreel repossessed him, causing Metatron to realize what had happened.

In order to defeat Metatron, Gadreel sacrifices himself to blow open Castiel's cell door. Upon doing so, Gadreel also killed his vessel whose body was left lying in Gadreel's destroyed cell. What happened to the vessel's body afterwards is unknown beyond the angels presumably removing it from the cell as it was never seen again.
