Esther was an angel belonging to Metatron's Faction.

Background

Season 9

When Esther was eating ice cream in an ice cream shop, she was accosted by a mother and her son, the former being concerned about Esther's vessel, being a young girl, eating a less-than-healthy bowl of ice cream. Esther rudely blew the mother off, which only annoyed her and demanded to know who she was. When Esther identified herself as an angel, she was not taken seriously.

Suddenly, she was confronted by another angel, Oren, who, saying that what he'll do was in Castiel's name, kills himself, using the Energy Focusing Sigil, and ends up killing Esther and six other humans in the ice cream shop.[1]

Powers and Abilities

Esther possessed the abilities inherent in all angels.

  • Angelic Possession - Esther needed to possess a vessel with their consent in order to roam earth.
