Envy is the personification of the envy sin. He is one of the Seven Deadly Sins.
History[]
Before Hell, he was a normal human who eventually died, went to Hell and tortured until he became a demon. After he was turned, he became the sin of Envy which allowed him to amplify said emotion within anyone whom he came into physical contact with.
After the Devil's Gate was opened in Wyoming in 2007, he escaped Hell with the rest of the demons and possessed a man named Walter Rosen where once on Earth, he made a woman kill another woman over a pair of shoes before being followed by hunters Isaac and Tamara though he saw them and had the bar he was in overrun by demons. After seemingly leaving, he re-entered to mock the hunters and watched as Gluttony forced Issac to commit suicide by drinking bleach much to the amusement of himself, Envy and to the horror of Tamara.
Later that night, he was captured by Sam and Dean Winchester, Bobby Singer and Tamara only to be exorcised from Walter's body by Tamara who did it out of revenge for Gluttony killing her husband though Walter died in the process.
Powers[]
- Demonic Possession - He could possess others against their will to walk the earth.
- Immortality - He was immune to natural causes of death.
- Eyes Transformation - He could make his eyes go black to intimidate his opponents.
- Flight - He could fly in his black smoke form.
- Envy Enhancement - He could amplify the envy in humans.
Weaknesses[]
- Exorcism - Like most demons, Envy can be expelled from his vessel and sent back to Hell with an exorcism.

Envy is the feeling to possess something that someone else has such as wealth, appearance, better living conditions and in the case of The Magnificent Seven, wanting a pair of shoes that another woman owned.
