The Freedom Fighters were otherworldly champions from Oz recruited by Dorothy in her quest against the Wicked Witch. The Wicked Witch transformed them into the Scarecrow, Tin Man, and Cowardly Lion. Their adventures was chronicled in the Wizard of Oz book authored by Frank Baum. Dorothy took Charlie Bradbury on as her protege and went to look for Toto and fight the good fight against the forces of evil in Western Oz during the Emerald City war.
