Metatron informed Castiel that when he tapped into cupid frequency he heard them say that Gail was going to match make, and that cupid's bow was the second ingredient in the trials to close the Gates of Heaven, however, this was a decoy and Metatron cast them down from Heaven with the Expelling Angels spell.
