Clairsentience

Clairsentience is described as senses able to detect supernatural energies, or sometimes as seeing the history of an object.

Primordial Entities

• The Darkness - She was able to detect the power of all the souls Dean had absorbed at the time. She also could sense another’s location over vast distances.

Celestial Beings

• Archangels
  • Michael - could easily detect Lilith upon seeing her.
  • Alternate Michael - He could detect that Lucifer was indeed Lucifer, saying that he could "feel it". Michael also managed to detect the rift to the main universe and instantly identified Gabriel and was able to differentiate him from his own reality's Gabriel.
  • Lucifer - He was able to sense the power of The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse's Rings. He was able to sense Jack's power while he was unborn.
• Angels
  • Angel Commander - He sensed that Lucifer had the "stink of hell" on him.
  • Anna Milton - She was able to detect that Sam was drinking demon blood, saying that he looked "different".
  • Castiel - Castiel was able to detect the presence of the approaching Leviathans in Purgatory. He later stated he could the presence of the lurking The Shadow while in The Empty.
  • Apocalypse World Zachariah - Detected Jack's use of power and used it to track Jack down.
  • Apocalypse World Castiel - Castiel was able to sense that his Main Universe counterpart was "more than one of us" simply by looking at him.
• Grigori
  • Kabaiel - He was able to sense Jack's great power. He also sensed the sneaking Castiel, as he appeared to save Jack.

• Reapers
  • Billie - When Sam was turning into a Rabid, she was able to detect that he was "unclean in the biblical sense."
• Nephilim
  • Jane - Jane was fully aware of who Castiel and Metatron were in their meeting.
  • Jack Kline - Jack was able to feel the alternate realities when experimenting in attempting to open a door to Apocalypse World. He was also able to identify who Michael was when he first saw him. While in Heaven, Jack was able to tell something was amiss and left out. Naomi stated it was because of his angelic heritage that let him detect it.

Deities

• Vesta - This Roman goddess could sense when a virgin or born-again virgin broke their vows to her. Also could sense the state of a body. She stated that Sam Winchester had a damaged body and felt Gadreel at the time referring to his body’s state as being held together by duck tape and safety pins.

Demonic Beings

• Demons
  • Asmodeus - He was able to sense Lucifer's return and attempted to find Jack without success by detecting his power. Asmodeus attempted to use this power to locate Gabriel with whom he shared a "connection," but was unable to at first. Asmodeus eventually sensed that Gabriel was within the Men of Letters bunker.
  • Cain - He was able to sense Crowley and Dean's presence and who they were, even being a very meters away.

Humans

• Prophets
  • Donatello Redfield - He is able to detect supernatural energies of angels, demons, primordial entities and the tablets.
• Psychics
  • Missouri Moseley - A psychic, she sensed two ghosts in the old Winchester house in Home. She couldn't detect they were there after the "purification", however, so it appears it may not be as strong as her telepathy.
  • Pamela Barnes - A psychic, despite being blind, Pamela displayed uncanny knowledge of her surroundings due to her psychic abilities.
  • Dede - She was able to sense a person's aura through touch.
• Witches
  • Clea - She was also able to sense Rowena's Astral Projection and the protection that God extended to Sam when he came visit her and Rowena.
  • Rowena MacLeod - She is able to sense the evil given off by a trapped Slick.
