I was thinking we only include pages who weren't witches. Individuals like Sue Ann, Walter Dixon and Dr. Visyak. Witches are categorized under "Witches" which is already a subcategory of Magic Practitioners. Same goes for individual angels and demons. FTWinchester (talk) 04:30, September 24, 2013 (UTC)

Ok. My bad. RaghavDAll I need is ONE life, ONE try, ONE breath, I'm ONE man 04:32, September 24, 2013 (UTC)

It's okay. If you think it's better for every page to be listed under this category, then we could discuss it. FTWinchester (talk) 04:33, September 24, 2013 (UTC)

I think it's better your way. Otherwise it'll be too big a category. Because almost every character, save for the regular humans, knows some sort of spell work. If we were to include them, it may became over stuffed.

Okay. Do you agree however, on putting both a category and page of the same topic (i.e., Category of demons/angels, and the page on demons/angels)? FTWinchester (talk) 04:47, September 24, 2013 (UTC)

Aren't they already present? Sorry, but I couldn't get your point. RaghavDAll I need is ONE life, ONE try, ONE breath, I'm ONE man 04:49, September 24, 2013 (UTC)

I meant if it was okay to have both the page and their category present in this category. Or should we just keep the one? For example, we could (i) keep both Angel page and Angel Category under Magic Practitioners, or (ii) ditch the Angel Page and just have the Angel Category as a sub-category under MP, or (iii) ditch the Angel Category because we already have the Angel Page listed under MP. FTWinchester (talk) 04:54, September 24, 2013 (UTC)

(ii). One instance of the species as a Category is enough I guess. RaghavDAll I need is ONE life, ONE try, ONE breath, I'm ONE man 04:56, September 24, 2013 (UTC)

Okay, then. I'll remove them tomorrow, I need to sleep. I'll try to keep it in mind. Or if you have the time, if you could please do it? FTWinchester (talk) 04:59, September 24, 2013 (UTC)

Sure. Not a problem. RaghavDAll I need is ONE life, ONE try, ONE breath, I'm ONE man 05:01, September 24, 2013 (UTC)

I thought we were no longer including pages who were categorized in a sub-category? Trevor and others were witches, right? FTWinchester (talk) 13:25, September 24, 2013 (UTC)

Sorry. I was working simultaneously on the Alpha Borderwalker page and i just slipped my mind. RaghavDAll I need is ONE life, ONE try, ONE breath, I'm ONE man 14:04, September 24, 2013 (UTC)

Just a few things[]

One, could you specify is the catagory designed for naturally magical creatures and beings who use magic or just beings who use magic. I only ask because some of the ones mentioned never actually used magic but where naturally magical, but the introduction seems to imply that it is only for beings who use magic, rather than beings that are naturally magical. Horsemen and Jessie for example.

Second I was wondering about the criteria included. Stacey Jorgeson and Harley Jorgeson never did anything other than give sacrifices to the Vanir, it was it that did the magic upon recieving it. Jeremy Frost, all he did was take a magical plant that a researcher supplied him. George Darrow just used Goofer Dust. Although all of these link to magic, they don't seem the same as practicing magic (I.e. spells and potions and the such) themselves. Just a few thoughts. General MGD 109 (talk) 18:00, September 24, 2013 (UTC)

I originally planned it to just beings who aren't naturally magically proficient, but the page on magic (which I did not create) included beings who were highly attuned to magic (i.e., angels, demons). I merely followed the precedent of the page. But like I said, I also think it would be better if it's just humans, witches, thules, men of letters, etc, sans the angels and demons. I wasn't the one who categorized those who offered to the Vanir, but I did add George Darrow. I know he only used Goofer Dust, but he said his grandma taught him about hoodoo. FTWinchester (talk) 12:09, September 25, 2013 (UTC)

And, if I may, I think the reason RaghavD added those that offered to the vanir is because their people believed all sorts of things were infused with magic (as per the professor's words in the episode). FTWinchester (talk) 12:35, September 25, 2013 (UTC)
You hit the bull's eye. Anyway I undid my edit for the moment. Let's hear if General agrees or differs. RaghavDAll I need is ONE life, ONE try, ONE breath, I'm ONE man 12:42, September 25, 2013 (UTC)
I agree with you FTWinchester it would be better, and I guess your right about George, I forgot to take that into account. As for the people who gave to the Vanir, no I still don't think they should count, they don't use magic, they just give things to a being that is magical. What about Frost? I'm still unsure if he counts. General MGD 109 (talk) 18:47, September 25, 2013 (UTC)
All right, I'll start removing the angels, demons, etc. What do you think about deities, though? And do we remove Fairies as well? FTWinchester (talk) 01:19, September 26, 2013 (UTC)

Don't know about Fairies, we've never actually seen them use magic though, other than there natural magic so maybe not. Deities, yeah keep them a lot of them practice magic. As demons have been removed, should we add this catagory to individual demons that have shown skill at Witchcraft, such as Crowley, Alastair or Astatroth? General MGD 109 (talk) 17:10, September 26, 2013 (UTC)

Fine by me. This would also mean Lilith and Ruby would have to be included. As well as Meg. Consequently, this would also mean we could include Balthazar and Castiel. Additionally, we would have to revise the definition of the category to delineate exclusive use of magic through means of spellwork and rituals without relying on innate magical affinity--or something like that, to explain why certain individual angels/demons are included. FTWinchester (talk) 01:25, September 27, 2013 (UTC)

I agree we would have to include them aswell, but you have a point, it may cause more problems then solutions. So if you don't want to its fine with me.  General MGD 109 (talk) 01:33, September 27, 2013 (UTC)

No, I don't mind having them individually. I just need help trying to reword the category so there is no confusion. FTWinchester (talk) 02:05, September 27, 2013 (UTC)
