Callie Garrison was a spirit that brought fairy tales to life.
Background[]
Callie was poisoned by her stepmother Julie with bleach when she was eight, and has remained in a vegetative state ever since. Her father, Dr. Garrison, kept her alive, and read her fairy tales during her sleep, unaware of his wife’s involvement in Callie’s poisoning. Increasingly frustrated that her father didn't know the truth and refused to let her die, Callie began to lash out, causing a series of deaths based on the stories he reads her.
When Dean sees Callie as a spirit, she indicates that she was poisoned by her stepmother by leaving behind an apple, a nod to the fairytale Snow White, where the titular character was also poisoned by her stepmother. Sam has to convince Dr. Garrison of what Callie is doing. Dr. Garrison calls out to his daughter asking if her stepmother really poisoned her and Callie's ghost appeared and nodded at her father. Finally accepting the truth, Dr. Garrison apologized for not listening and encouraged Callie to move on. Callie let go and died, moving on to the afterlife.
Powers and Abilities[]
Callie was a powerful ghost, following years upon years of frustration building on itself, and as such possessed several rare powers for a ghost.
- Reality Warping - She could bend reality, making real life play out like a fairy tale, or empower another being with enhanced physical attributes.
- Conjuration (limited) - Callie was able to create simple objects, such as an apple or a pumpkin.
- Mind Control - More advanced than most ghosts, she could force others to act in a certain way, such as making a man act like the big bad wolf, or an old woman, like the witch in Hansel and Gretal.
- Intangibility - All Ghosts can pass through objects and other beings.
- Teleportation - Unlike most ghosts, she wasn't tied to one place, and could go anywhere.
