This unnamed woman is Ed Singer's wife-turned-widow as well as Bobby Singer's mother. Whether or not she is still alive is unknown.

As revealed by a comatose Bobby's memories, his mother was timid and submissive to her alcoholic and physically abusive husband. She appeared frightened by Ed, stuttering when trying to talk and trying to please him and keep him happy and relaxed. She may have resented Bobby and possibly blamed him for his father's actions because at one point she asked him, "Why do you always have to provoke him?"

When her son accidentally spilled a glass of milk at dinner as a child, she was forced to start cleaning it up while Bobby was sent to get something to clean it up with and a drunken Ed began berating her for letting Bobby "do whatever he wants". He hit her hard enough to knock her to the floor and make her bleed then started dragging her to her feet by pulling on her hair. However, before it went any further Bobby shot him with a rifle, killing him. Bobby's mother was horrified rather than grateful, asking, "Bobby, what did you do? God is gonna punish you".[1]
