The Black Plague, also known as the Black Death, is an ancient type of extreme disease, which was highly infectious.

In the ancient and medieval times, Pestilence takes form and makes first viruses and bacteria including the Yersinia pestis bubonic plague that he shapes into a global pandemic that eventually became known as the Black Death, causing it to grow and its destruction spread sickness throughout kingdoms. It was resilient to basic medicines and potions, killing practitioner of witchcraft Ruby's loved ones. She used dark magic to create spells and rituals, and the church were archenemies to anything satanic or demonic, and hunters fought monsters. Ruby finally died.
Aftermath[]
The disease is cured and contained by the advances in the sciences. Astaroth dehumanizes Ruby's human soul and her friends' human souls in Hell, and it gets corrupted and becomes a demonic entity. Ruby alongside the others, trained and apprentices under Astaroth.
