The Bermuda Triangle is a supernatural region of the sea in which public knowledge-supernatural events happen.

History[]

Background[]

The Bermuda Triangle has for long been a mysterious place that interfers with radio and internet signals, as well and swallowing people through portals to unknown locations, the causes of these events are unknown.

Season 3[]

Dean: Sam, joints like this are only tourist traps, right? I mean, you know, balls rolling uphill, furniture nailed to the ceiling, they're only dangerous to your wallet.
Sam: Okay, look, I'm just saying, there are spots in the world where holes open up and swallow people. The Bermuda Triangle, uh, the Oregon Vortex..
Dean: Broward County Mystery Spot?
Sam: Well sometimes these places are legit.
— Sam and Dean talking about mysterious places in the world
in Mystery Spot.

In Mystery Spot, Sam Winchester mentions the region, comparing it to the tourist trap called "Mystery Spot" stating that there are places in the world where "holes open up and swallow people" alongside with the "Oregon Vortex" tourist trap.

Season 8[]

Sam: (Reading an e-mail) It's from Charlie, "In the neighborhood, found you guys a case.", found us a case?
Dean: In the neighborhood? How the hell does she know where we are?
Sam: Uh, well, she doesn't. Not exactly, at least. It says she tracked our cells to a twenty mile radius, then the signal went out. Huh. This place must be in some kinda, like, Bermuda Triangle.
Dean: What, are you saying we can make and receive phone calls from here and nobody can track us? Man i love this place.
— Sam and Dean finding out more about how the bunker works
in Pac-Man Fever.

In Pac-Man Fever, Sam mentions the region again, this time comparing it to the Men of Letters bunker as both places mess/interfer with radio/internet signals.

Trivia[]

  • From Sam's comments about these types of places, and Dean's little resistence towards the subject, these places would seem to be common knowledge between hunters.
  • From Sam's comment in season 3, this series' rendition of the Bermuda Triangle is very similar to the one seen in the Danny Phantom animated series.
