Barbara Cordry was almost a victim of Charlie Bradbury's dark version.
Overview[]
In 1997, Barbara accepted bribes to keep the death of the Middleton's quiet, she offered District Attorney Peter Harper a large sum of money so that he would not speak out though the one who paid instead was Russell Wellington, the man who killed Mr. Middleton and severely injured Gertrude Middleton and until 2015, the case was never picked up on.
When a dark version of Charlie, who had been split from her soul and was therefore a more cruel version of her real self, began locating those involved in the case, she targeted Barbara who she had found after torturing Peter. Upon being approached by Sam and Dean Winchester at her home, she claimed to be on vacation though in reality, she wanted to get away from what she had been involved in.
While waiting outside, Sam and Dean ran back into the house upon hearing Barbara scream and discovered her with a knife to her throat courtesy of Charlie though she was saved and remained unharmed. Using Barbara's accounts, they discovered the real person behind the death of Charlie's father and the reason why Gertrude was comatose.
