Baba Yaga's ring is a magical ring belonging to Baba Yaga that acts as the source of her power and her one weakness.
History[]
In 1993, while fighting Baba Yaga, Dean Winchester cuts off most of the fingers on her right hand, sending the ring flying across the room, cracking the stone. As Dean subsequently stabs Baba Yaga before she dissolves into dust, she is mistakenly believed to have been killed while in reality, the damage to her ring causes Baba Yaga to become dormant.
The ring is eventually found by the motel's cleaning lady in her vacuum and with the ring being unclaimed property, she gives it to her son Travis Johnson. Unaware of the ring's true nature, Travis puts it onto a chain and it becomes his lucky charm.
In 2020, Travis returns to the motel to face his fears. A few weeks before returning, Travis has the ring repaired, allowing Baba Yaga to return. While researching the ancient witch, Sam Winchester and Caitlin Johnson realize the significance of it and Travis' possession of the ring. During his final fight with Baba Yaga, Dean is able to yank the ring off of her hand and smash it with the butt of his gun, causing Baba Yaga to burst into green flames and die.
Powers and Abilities[]
