Anu is the Babylonian sky god. He is believed to be the supreme god and ancestor of all deities in the Babylonian pantheon.

Background[]
Shortly after the "apes" (humans) climbed down the trees and started to pray for the sun and other natural phenomena, God created Anu and the rest of the deities to be scapegoats when something went wrong. God also created them because they made for good stories.
Season 15[]
While telling the story of the creation of the pagans and listing some of the deities created by God, Fortuna mentions Anu, along with Hera, Ra, and Mixcoatl.
