Ann Morton was a teacher who was possessed by a demon searching for one of Lucifer's Crypts in Lincoln Springs, Missouri; Crowley was having his demons search for the angel tablet. Her husband noticed she had stopped eating and sleeping, and made a scale model of Lincoln Springs, Missouri in their basement. He also saw her dig numerous holes ten to fifteen feet deep, without breaking a sweat. Before her death, Ann contacted Wendy Rice seeking information about a map of the town to help locate an orchard containing one of the crypts, but did not make the meeting.
One day after she got home, Mr. Morton saw her eyes turn black. He immediately went to a bar, and when he got home he found her dead, killed by Castiel.
