Amanda Tapping is a Canadian actress who portrayed the angel Naomi in Season 8, Season 13 and Season 14 of Supernatural. She also made her directorial debut on the nineteenth episode of Season 12, The Future and returned to direct the twelfth episode of Season 13, Various & Sundry Villains.
She is best known for her roles on Stargate SG-1 as Samantha Carter and on Sanctuary where she portrayed Helen Magnus.
