Alex was a businessman and the partner of Lindsey.
Background
One day, Alex was sent to Kansas City to contact a client, who cancelled at the last minute. The next night, Alex returned home to find Lindsey tortured and bloody, and terrified of him. A shocked Alex then encountered a Shapeshifter in his form, which proceeded to knock him out with a bat.
The next day, Alex was pinned by the police as the one who tortured Lindsey, and was arrested. However, the police most likely released Alex when they believed that Dean Winchester was the actual attacker.
