The Akrida Queen is the highest leading known rank among the Akrida, a species of "monster" originating from another world.
Characteristics[]
The existence of a Queen highlights the similarities of the Akrida with insects that form colonies with social castes. The true form of the Queen is still unknown as it hides deep underground, protected by the Akrida. It is unknown if the Queen is also the progenitor of the Akrida, or simply their ultimate leader. It has been theorized by the Men of Letters that the defeat of the Queen will cause the defeat of the entire Akrida invading forces.
Powers and Abilities[]
Much of the Queen's abilities are still unknown. However, the Akrida have been collecting monster essences in an effort to strengthen their Queen.
Weaknesses[]
As of now, the Ostium is the only known object that might work against the Queen.
