History[edit | edit source]
In 1863, after the Knights of Hell kidnapped Colette Mullen, Cain slaughtered all but Abaddon. While Abaddon was possessing Colette, these three demons, in the vessels of Confederate soldiers, were assigned to protect her.
Detecting Cain's arrival, one of the demons told the other two to stand their ground as Abaddon had to be protected no matter what. As the ground shook and a gust of wind blew through the cabin, Cain appeared behind one of the demons. Cain lifted the demon off his feet, smote him and then broke his neck, killing the demon guard. The other guards futilely shot Cain with their muskets, but Cain shrugged off the shots. He then smote the remaining two guards and moved on to confront Abaddon with the First Blade.
